The Oude Gueze 1998. Brewed by the 3 Fonteinen, it is a lambic style beer. Not my thing, as I don't enjoy gueze beers too much. Plan and simple it is too sour for my taste. But it is a famous beer, liked by many - obviously. I see the 3 Fonteinen brewery is even organizing a Gueze Tour so there must be something to these beers.

I just love those sour beers. Once you get used to this palate, I'm sure you will like them too. Just try them once in a while. A good beginners 'oude geuze' is Boon.
