We tried this beer while on a day trip to Gent. Funny how you leave Brussels, and there is a whole world of different Belgian beers.The Gildenbier - guild beer - is brewed by the Brasserie Haacht. It looks like candy and it does taste a little sweet as well. At 7% a faily strong beer, but very nice.
