The Ultrabrune is another beer from Brasserie d'Eucassines. A very dark brown hoppy beer, with hints of coffee, and at 10% a serious Belgian beer.

Belgian Beers Boutique
Some more news for you:
- after celebrating 200 Belgian Beers on this blog, some of you asked when / if there is any http://www.belgian-beers.eu/ merchandise available? Hmmm ... never thought about it. But I got working and now you can have a go at a T-Shirt, a Mouse Pad or a Magnet. Your choice :) Let me know what you think and if you would like to see more products, perhaps, sometimes in the future? Do you like them? At all?
- remember the world beer (photos) domination? Well I have news, the book is on its way, and my photos are in. Will keep you posted as soon as I know more.
More:
- if you linked to me and I didn't link back, let me know! I will link back as soon as I get the chance, promise!
- and if at any point you come across Belgian Beers mentioned in the news or print or wherever please let me know.
I guess that's about it for today... Have a good (beer) weekend everyone.

Belgian Beer no.202: Cookie Beer
The first beer from the Zythos Festival. Actually, it was the last one we tried but the way they uploaded on the blog makes this the first. Anyway, bla, bla, bla.
Cookie Beer by Brasserie d'Ecaussinnes. I think we might have visited this brewery. First time we tried the Cookie Beer though.
And here is my dilemma: I absolutely love speculoos. And I love beer. The two together? Not so sure. Don't get me wrong. I got all excited when I saw the combination and thought it was a great idea. I mean, hello?, bring together two Belgian trademarks - must be a match made in heaven.
Well, erm, no! Somehow it just didn't work. At 5% not a strong beer, but I wasn't sure I am eating/ drinking: cookie ... beer ... cookie ... beer. A little bit too confusing.
