Belgian Beer no.128: La Poiluchette

A beer by the Delirium brewery and served (and tasted) in the Delirium Cafe. It so happened the beer was on special offer, so we decided to try La Poiluchette - the Cuvee du Chateau, blonde beer. At 7.5% not neglectable, but a nice beer. Nothing too memorable though.

Oh, on a different note I am currently out of beer tasting notes, or photos, so if you have any you'd like to contribute with please let me know. If not I guess there is more drinking to be done :)

Hello Andreea,

Congratulations on such an interesting and entertaining blog! As yourself, I also enjoy belgian beers very much and I am always looking forward to having one in my hands, does that mean I'm an alcoholic?
Unfortunately, for the time being I don't live in Brussels, and where I am currently the offer of belgian beers is quite limited, although enough to keep the spirit alive.
As you know, you still have quite a few quite popular beers to write about, namely the other 4 Trappist beers and all the abbey and pils beers widely available in Belgium. However, I'd love to contibute to your page with a few of my own opinions, how about it? I see that quite a few people answered to your call a couple of months ago, but I presume that the format of your blog is kind of different from other, more "professional" kind of beer tasting blogs. That's what I find interesting.
All the best, and I'll keep checking out your page for further posts,

thanks for this comment. always great to see other people share the passion. would love to have your contributions as well, as alone, it is quite a task to go through all the Belgian beers. i know some of the famous ones are still missing, but getting there :)

Thanks a lot! By the way, I see that you have a whole range of blogs dedicated to food and drink, I am quite impressed! Besides being interesting and entertaining, for people who transit through Brussels they are quite useful! I like the format in which you write, it sounds as if you're talking to a friend who is telling you where he went last night, unlike other webpages who write long reviews that just go on, to me it ends up being boring...I'll be in touch, and as for you - keep up the good work!
